Articles and the local checklist work without optional storage. Open cookie settings to change your choice. Policy date: October 21, 2026.
Your choice
Accept optional enables reading-position memory on this device. Reject optional leaves it off. Settings lets you choose that feature individually. Closing the panel without saving does not accept it. Missing, invalid or expired choices default to off.
The footer and fixed Cookie settings link reopen the controls. Without JavaScript, this policy remains readable and the optional feature is not used. Browser site-data controls can also remove stored records.
Storage inventory
Reading-feature storage
| Name / type | Purpose and data | Duration and control |
|---|
prj_privacy_v1 First-party cookie | Preference version, optional reading choice and timestamp. Written after a deliberate saved choice, scoped to this website path. | Maximum 180 days. A new choice replaces it; browser site-data controls can remove it. |
|---|
prj_reading_v1 Optional localStorage | Article paths, reading positions and timestamps. Initialized only after reading-position consent, including an empty record on non-article pages. No analytics or advertising events. | Entries at least 180 days old are ignored when read. Expired entries are removed on the next saved reading-position write, where browser access permits; each such write saves at most 30 records. Reading alone does not rewrite localStorage. Rejecting or disabling the option attempts to remove the record. Unused localStorage may remain until a later saved reading-position write, rejection or removal through browser controls. |
|---|
Checklist choices and topic filter Current-page state, not stored data | Broad review-status selections and article category. No cookie or localStorage record is written by these tools. | Reset clears checklist choices and result. No server submission. Browser restoration is separate from the checklist. |

Other website technologies
The local worksheet and reading controls do not include analytics, advertising tags or third-party media players. Other WordPress plugins, embedded content and hosting services can operate separately. Reading-preference controls govern only the reading feature; they do not control those services or establish a complete inventory of the website.
WordPress sign-in and administration may use separate authentication cookies for signed-in users. These reading controls do not remove authentication cookies, email, server logs or records at linked websites. This list describes reading-feature storage and any additional details the publisher has supplied.
Checklist choices are not stored
The monthly review checklist uses current-page state only. No cookie, localStorage record, server submission or account connection is created by the checklist. Reset clears the selections and result. Browser restoration is separate behavior.
Withdrawal and duration
Rejecting optional memory stops new reading-position saves and attempts to remove the saved record. The preference cookie lasts up to 180 days; browsers may remove it sooner. If storage is blocked, optional behavior stays off and the feature reports the limitation. Your choice applies to this browser and website path, not all your devices.
Scope
These controls govern the publication’s reading feature. They do not block hosting logs, separately added technologies or external sites. The default reader implementation has no analytics or advertising trackers. Hosting and other software may have separate behavior described in the Privacy Policy. Questions: lisatomas@gmail.com.
